Go back to a care free era with the LEGO Volkswagen T1 Camper Van set, a LEGO shop exclusive. With a high level of attention to detail this set features a very accurate depiction of the classic Volkswagen camper van from 1962.
The attention to detail is clear to see especially as you look at the iconic features. It all starts with the ‘v’ shape 3 way colour split on the front separating the white from red. A rounded roof and window frames are accurately modelled as is the opening ‘splittie’ safari wind shield. The classic opening doors are included as is the iconic pop-up roof with textile curtain surround. You’ll also find a roof rack, rear side air intake vents and a whole lot more. It’s incredible to see so much detail in one model.
The detailing continues on the inside too with the authentic VW air-cooled flat four cylinder boxer engine modelled underneath the chassis. Inside the camper van you’ll find a front cabin bench seat, gear stick, angled dashboard and iconic spherical speedometer. The rear bench seat is folding as is the dinette table. There’s even a closet with mirror and even a stylish painting!
This model is a must for VW camper van fans and features loads of accurate details right down to the authentic plaid-print textile curtains and wing mirror. The rear door opens to display the glorious engine, the side doors open to reveal the inside of the nostalgic camper van and the front doors open to reveal the driving area.
The recommended retail price for LEGO set 10220 is £79.99. The set contains 1,332 LEGO bricks which equates to an average price of just £0.06 per brick.
