The LEGO Technic Flatbed Truck is perfect for budding recovery truck enthusiasts everywhere. Designed to look very similar to the recovery trucks you see up and down the motorways this technic model features an impressive array of functions whilst looking authentic.
As with most recovery trucks this truck has the ability to carry all sorts of loads. It has a large flat deck at the rear for cargo as well as other LEGO Technic vehicles.
The set features LEGO Power Functions and so is motorised. A wheel lift is tucked up at the very back and is motorised. This is perfect for towing vehicles at that are still in a road worthy condition. If the vehcile has been in an accident then you can load it onto the deck. The motorised deck tilts to allow the vehicle to be towed on-board using the winch.
This set comes with instructions for a B model which is an airport catering truck, which has to be one of the most impressive B models available. The rear part of the truck lifts up to meet the aircraft using a scissor lift action.
