LEGO Technic Motorised Excavator Review (Set 8043)
Digger enthusiasts have been waiting for the 2nd half of 2010′s releases from LEGO which include this giant remote controlled LEGO Technic Motorised Excavator. Each function has been motorised and makes use of the LEGO Power Functions dual infra-red remote control.
You can drive the digger in any direction, spin the cab 360 degrees, and control the arm and bucket very precisely. It’s a fun set to build and as it is the 2010 flagship model, it is the most complex to build, providing hours of fun and enjoyment. The end result is simply amazing!
The LEGO Technic Motorised Excavator set contains two infrared remote control handsets, 4 motors, 2 receivers, 4 linear actuators and a battery box. It measures over 45cm in length too.
The B model is a front loader, instructions for which are included in the set.
The recommended retail price for LEGO set 8043 is £139.99. The set contains 1,123 LEGO bricks which equates to an average price of just £0.12 per brick.
