LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0 Review (Set 8547)
Many believe LEGO is a child’s toy and whilst that is true, playing with LEGO doesn’t have to stop as you grow up, thanks to their Mindstorms products. These are highly intelligent robots constructed from LEGO bricks and programmed with code to perform tasks and functions.

LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT 2.0 combines the unlimited versatility of the LEGO building system with an intelligent microcomputer brick and intuitive drag-and-drop programming software.
LEGO reckon it takes just 30 minutes to build and program your first robot and it is a set that will be loved by teenagers and adults alike. It uses logic to control various actions and responses and is a great way to delve into the world of computer programming – only with a lot more fun as a result.
The intelligent NXT LEGO brick features a 32-bit microprocessor, a large matrix display, 4 input and 3 output ports, as well as Bluetooth and USB communication links. the set also comes with 3 interactive servo motors, an Ultrasonic Sensor, 2 Touch Sensors and the all-new Colour Sensor, PC and Mac compatible programming software as well as all the LEGO bricks required to build some cool robots.
The kit contains instructions for 4 different robots although the beauty of this set is that when you combine it with other LEGO bricks and some imagination you could create a wide array of robots.
