LEGO Tower Bridge Review (Set 10214)
In yet another launch exclusive to LEGO direct, the iconic Tower Bridge in London has been replicated in LEGO in amazing high quality.
Built in 1984, Tower Bridge stretches over the River Thames in London, England, and has fast become one of the most iconic bridges in the world. Millions of tourists flock to the Great British capital each year to get a first hand glimpse of this wonderful architectural monument.
It is an architecturally complex structure and this can be seen within the LEGO model, as it uses advanced building techniques to ensure stability and rigidity. The structure locks together but can easily be split into parts for transportation. This is complimented with a range of rare colours and elements together with an array of decorative items adorning the famous bridge.
The drawbridge really works on the scale model and there are some scale vehicles supplied too, including the traditional red London double decker bus, a black London taxi, a yellow truck and a green car.
When fully erected, the LEGO Tower Bridge model spans 40″ (102 cm) in length, 17″ (45 cm) in height and 10″ (26 cm) in width!
The recommended retail price for LEGO set 10214 is £204.99. The set contains 4,287 LEGO bricks which equates to an average price of just £0.05 per brick.
