Several levels of retail space are open to customers, each focussing on a specific area of shopping with each level connected by a series of escalators.
The LEGO Grand Emporium has been inspired by these classic retail outlets.Three levels of shopping are encased in a classical and iconic building, with a corner revolving door entrance. The ground floor contains the clothing department and comes complete with a cash register, fitting room, hats, jewellery, perfume, and even a selection of spare trousers.
A fantastic LEGO escalator connects it to the first floor which is where you will find the homeware department with glassware and golden plates for special occasions. Another cure escalator takes you up to the toy department with an impressive chandelier above the open atrium. On the roof you will find a large billboard and a skylight!
On the street outside, people walk on by carry shopping bags, posting letters at the mailbox, admire the window mannequins, then cool off at the ice cream stand while a busy window washer works above.
The attention to detail by LEGO in this model is amazing and will be loved by all. The LEGO Grand Emporium is highly realistic and comes with 7 minifigures including a range of assistants and shoppers. The LEGO department store measures 15″ (38cm) in height and 10″ (25cm) in width.
